Symptoms

The dog is so nervous that he keeps licking the bite area and becomes increasingly irritable and restless.
The bite area swells quickly and the dog is afraid of being touched due to the pain.
Dools a lot.

Measures

1. Use tweezers to pull out the sting (if visible).
2. Try not to touch the bitten place.
3. Use cold water or an ice pack to cool the bitten area. Be careful not to put it directly on the skin. There is a risk of frostbite!
4. If the mouth or throat is bitten, or the dog has an allergic reaction, see a veterinarian immediately.
