The Shar-Pei is native to Dali Town, Nanhai, Guangdong, my country. It is a world-famous fighting dog breed. The Shar-Pei has undergone racial mutation during its long breeding years. Abnormal enzymes have caused hyaluronic acid to accumulate on the surface of the Shar-Pei's skin, causing wrinkles.

The Shar-Pei has a unique appearance

The height of the Shar-Pei is generally 46-56 cm, and the weight is generally 22-27 kg. They have a unique appearance, with a hippopotamus-like head, a tile-shaped mouth, blue tongue coating, and triangular eyes. The standard Shar-Pei should have a short back, a petite body, a head larger than the body, and a black nose.

The Shar-Pei is very loyal

The Shar-Pei is smart, brave and good at fighting. They are very loyal to their owners, are easily tamed and love to play with children. Sharpei have a very conservative character and are very wary of foreign guests. It takes a series of observations before they can let go of their guard and slowly approach foreign partners.
