Causes of dog lice

Lice feed on blood and live outside the body. It is also the main source and vector of skin diseases in puppies and adult dogs, which greatly affects the health of dogs. Domestic dogs must be constantly monitored for lice.

Pay attention to clean dog lice

If the puppy has lice, you can use a dog flea solution. When the puppy is wet-washed, rinse the conditioner and water before and after, and apply it on the puppy. On dog hair all over the body, however, dog flea water should be diluted at a ratio of one tablespoon to 12 liters of water. Do not rinse with water after applying it. The drug will penetrate the skin and achieve the preventive and therapeutic effect.

How to pay attention to dog lice

Some puppies, like Pekingese dogs, should not be wet washed. These long-haired pups can be sprayed or powdered. First, the hair can be combed back from the tail to the head, and then sprayed directly on the fur all over the body, about 15 to 20 cm away, to prevent the spray from the eyes and mouth. Usually 8 seconds of even spraying is enough. If it weighs less than 3 kg, it can only be sprayed for a few seconds. If you use powder, you should comb the hair back to its original position, sprinkle it evenly on the fur, and comb it again after half an hour. At the same time, pay attention to the puppy and do not let it lick the powder. Some people have also tried using yeast tablets. For every 10 pounds of dog weighing 10 pounds, yeast powder can be added to the food every day to prevent lice.
