What is periodontitis

Periodontitis is a disease in which tartar attached to the surface of the teeth enters the gums, causing inflammation and destroying the tissues around the teeth. Periodontitis can cause swelling of the gums and gums, inflammation and bleeding of the tissues around the teeth, and even damage to the periodontal membrane and alveolar bone at the roots of the teeth.
