How to prevent heat stroke in dogs

1. Make sure the dog drinks enough water.

2. Avoid exposing your dog to the hot sun.

3. Avoid strenuous exercise for dogs in hot weather.

4. Do not leave your dog alone in a confined space, such as a car.

5. Don’t shave all the dog’s hair, trim and thin it appropriately.

Symptoms of heat stroke in dogs

Panting heavily and slow to react.

Weakness of limbs and burning of skin.

Collapsed and fell to the ground, foaming at the mouth.

First aid measures for dog heat stroke

1. Move the dog to a cool place.

2. Rinse or wipe the dog’s body with cold water.

3. Provide dogs with cold water to drink.

4. Wipe the dog’s paws and inside ears with alcohol.

5. Stay calm and contact your doctor.

(Note: Ice water should not be used directly to prevent shock caused by blocked blood circulation. The dog's head should be lowered and the neck stretched to ensure that the dog can breathe smoothly.)
