Time to wean puppies

Puppies usually start to wean around one to one and a half months old, because during this time the dogs have begun to grow teeth and will continue to eat from their mother. Puppy food after weaning

After the dog is weaned, the friends will start to prepare some food for the dog to eat later. The owner can first use some goat milk powder for the dog after weaning. As a transition, don’t feed them dog food directly, as this will overwhelm the dog’s stomach. In the process of feeding goat milk powder, the owner can soak some dog food to let the dog adapt to the taste of the dog food. When the dog's teeth are almost developed (about 3 months), the owner can directly feed them dog food.

Precautions for puppies after weaning

Basically, the puppy’s diet mainly relies on eating small meals frequently. Especially dogs that have just been weaned can be fed several times a day, but don't feed them too much. Dogs are very easy to die when they are young, so the care of the owner is very important. Especially when the weather is cold, a warm nest must be prepared for the dog.
