Drink ice water to dogs

Feed cold drinks to dogs

After dogs eat too much cold food, it will damage the gastrointestinal mucosa, cause abdominal discomfort, loss of appetite, and in severe cases, vomiting and diarrhea.

Bathe your dog frequently

In summer, people want to soak in the water, so they naturally think that dogs should also take frequent baths. This is actually wrong. Dogs' skin sweat glands are not as developed as those of humans, and they cannot secrete sweat through sweat glands to dissipate heat. They mainly rely on breathing to dissipate body heat. At the same time, the dog's hair secretes oil, which can prevent bacterial invasion. If you bathe your dog frequently, it will not cool you down, but it will also wash away the oil on the dog's hair, which will easily allow bacteria to invade.

Blow air conditioning on dogs for a long time

It is too hot in summer. In order to avoid heat stroke, owners let their dogs stay in air-conditioned rooms for a long time to cool down. This is actually wrong. If a dog stays in an air-conditioned room for a long time, it is easy to get air-conditioning disease, which will weaken the dog's resistance. If your dog has a runny nose, sneezing, depression, or loss of appetite, it is best not to let the dog use the air conditioner. Or don’t adjust the temperature too low, keep the time within 2 hours, and pay attention to the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the room to prevent your dog from catching a cold.
