How long does it take for a Husky to molt?

The hair of a Husky after birth is relatively sparse, commonly known as "lanugo". Generally, when the Husky grows to about 2 months old, it will start to change its lanugo. The duration of this molt may last from 2 months of age to 8 months of age. The duration of lanugo moulting is affected by climate, environment and growth conditions, and will vary for each Husky.
Adult Huskies will undergo a physiological molt in spring and autumn each year, which lasts for about a month. Hair removal usually starts from the thighs, then the hair on the waist and buttocks, then the hair on the neck, and finally the hair on the body. During the molting period, you should pay attention to supplementing nutrition for your Husky. You can eat some hair-beautifying foods such as seaweed powder, cod liver oil, and lecithin powder. Moreover, the Husky should be combed 2-3 times a day to clean the shed hair in time to keep the body clean and prevent lice, fleas and other parasites from taking advantage of the situation.
