What to pay attention to when Teddy is pregnant

1. The nutritional content is higher than usual, so eat smaller meals more frequently.
2. Don’t hug Teddy’s belly too hard. Instead, hug him gently and don’t put pressure on his belly.
3. Don’t give Teddy medicine casually.
4. Do not exercise vigorously. It is better to take a slow walk as exercise. Never let your Teddy jump up or down, especially within the first 3 weeks of labor.
5. Do not spray excessive amounts of tick-killing water.
6. Keep the kennel ventilated, warm and dry.
7. One month before delivery, roundworms should be eliminated. For safety reasons, please consult your veterinarian regarding the dosage of anthelmintics to be used.
8. In the last few days of pregnancy, Teddy may have constipation, so you can try feeding 1 to 3 teaspoons (5 to 10 ml) of paraffin oil. Do not use other laxatives indiscriminately, and consult a veterinarian if you have severe constipation.
9. In addition, if Teddy is relatively thin, it is best to add some calcium powder to it.
During pregnancy, if Teddy gets sick, you should not use drugs at will. It is best to go to a regular hospital for diagnosis and prescribe the right medicine.
