How do you tell whether a golden retriever is pure or not? A purebred golden retriever has strong and strong limbs, a flexible and coordinated gait, and good overall proportions; an adult golden retriever’s eyes should not show the whites of their eyes when looking straight ahead, and their ears should not be too large, and their nose should not be too big. It must be black; the tail of a good-looking golden retriever is naturally drooping and cannot be curled upward.

A good Golden Retriever has smooth back lines, strong limbs, generous walking posture, and powerful steps. When trotting, the posture is coordinated, the limbs do not turn in or out, and the feet do not interfere with each other. When running fast, the speed is up to standard, the movement is flexible, the stretching is free, and the coordination of muscles and bones is natural and smooth. Occasionally jumping, it is better to have good balance and agile and neat body movements.

When a purebred golden retriever adult dog looks straight ahead, the whites of its eyes should not be exposed. However, when choosing a golden retriever, you should never buy such a dog. One characteristic of all mammals is that the size of their eyes changes very little after they are born and grow up. Many people's eyes were quite big when they were young, but become smaller as they grow up. This is because the eyes themselves do not change. Therefore, when buying a puppy, you should show the whites of the eyes appropriately - pay attention to the appropriateness.

The golden retriever’s ears should not be too big. If the ears are too big or too long, it is not an advantage but a defect. Pull the tips of the ears to just cover the front of the golden retriever's eyes. If it exceeds too much, it is a shortcoming. In addition, the golden retriever's nose should be black. If it is red, it will be disqualified.

When choosing a golden retriever, please note that when the golden retriever is standing still, its tail must be hanging diagonally. When buying a golden retriever baby, its tail should be tucked behind the butt or drooping moderately when standing still. When running, the tail will not be completely straight back, nor will it be curled up like a Chinese garden dog.

Golden retriever dogs have various coat colors. The more common ones on the market now include golden yellow, light yellow, white, black, etc. The golden retriever has a double coat. The undercoat is soft and warm. The outer coat is slightly harder, elastic and waterproof. It shines with a unique luster in the sun. There are slightly longer and rich feathers on the back of the thighs and under the tail. The hair should preferably be clean, smooth and free of knots.
