How to clean Beagle’s ears

1. Prepare relevant cleaning tools. For example, cotton swabs, alcohol cotton balls, 3% sodium bicarbonate ear drops or 2% boric acid water, ear hair plucking powder, ear hair plucking scissors (you need to buy professional pet ear hair plucking scissors.)
2. After stabilizing the Beagle’s body and head, you can start cleaning.
3. First sprinkle some ear hair-pulling powder into the ear canal, then hold the dog’s ears and gently knead the ear canal to better exert the effect of the ear hair-pulling powder. After 1-2 minutes, You can use scissors to start plucking the ear hair of the Beagle. Note that when plucking ear hair, it is best to pull it out in small handfuls. It should be done quickly and steadily, so as to cause the least pain to the beagle.
4. After plucking the ear hair, if there is still earwax, drop some 3% sodium bicarbonate ear drops or 2% boric acid water into the dog’s ear canal, and then gently knead the beagle. After the earwax softens, use tweezers or cotton swabs to gently remove the earwax, and finally clean it with a clean cotton swab.
Note that when cleaning earwax, tweezers and cotton swabs should not go too deep into the ear canal to prevent puncturing the dog's eardrum or scratching the ear canal mucosa.
