Precautions for long-distance transport of puppies

1. Before a long journey, give your dog a chance to urinate and defecate. Before departure, let it drink water and eat something, about 1/3 of the usual amount. Some dogs just can't eat before going on a trip, and you'll find this out as you go.
2. Stop the car at intervals along the way, giving your dog a chance to stretch, urinate and drink some water at least every 2-3 hours. During long journeys, the dog should be allowed to eat again after 4-5 hours. Many dogs can be calmed by having a small amount of food in their stomach.
3. Don’t put your dog in the passenger seat. Small dogs should be placed in the air box and placed on the rear seat; large dogs should be placed directly on the rear seat. When driving, be careful to control the speed and avoid braking as much as possible.
