How do you tell the age of a Yorkie? The age of a Yorkie can be estimated by looking at the teeth. There are only deciduous teeth under 2 months old, incisors are replaced at 2-4 months, canine teeth are replaced at 4-6 months, and molars are replaced at 6-10 months. Teeth grow at 1 year old. The teeth are neat, white and bright, and the incisors have no cusps. The cusps of the incisors at 2-5 years old are partially flattened, and the tricuspid protrusions of the incisors at 5-9 years old are enlarged.

One month: All incisors, canines, first and second premolars have grown in.

Two months: The second premolars and vegetative teeth (front third molars) grow in.

Four months: The incisors and first premolars are exchanged, and the first rear molars grow in.

Four months and a half: exchange of middle teeth, first, second and third premolars.

Five and six months: corner teeth, canines, second, third, and fourth premolars exchange, and the second and third rear molars grow in.

Seven months: All teeth have been replaced.

The tricuspid process of the incisors disappears in 1 to 2 years.

In 2 to 3 years, the tricuspid protrusion of the teeth appears and disappears.

The tricuspid protrusion of the corner teeth disappears in 4 to 5 years.

In 5 to 6 years, the tricuspid process of the incisors enlarges.

In 6 to 7 years, the tricuspid process of the teeth enlarges.

From 8 to 9 years old, the tricuspid protrusion of the corner teeth becomes enlarged.
