Different dogs like different types of play: for example, sheepdogs like chasing games and fetching games; guard dogs like "strength" games; and hounds like shaking and pulling objects. As for what games your dog likes, you still need to rely on experience to judge.

Toy selection: Almost all dogs like to play with balls, and puppies especially like to bite toys when their teeth are growing. When purchasing toy balls, pay attention to: they are non-toxic, will not be chewed out into pieces and can be swallowed, have no sharp angles, and should not be too small to avoid being swallowed.

When playing: avoid excessive exercise. Large dogs should not exercise excessively before one year old. The muscles and bones of large puppies are still developing.
