How to Treat a Cold in a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog

Simple colds can be cured quickly if treated promptly. If not treated promptly, puppies may develop secondary bronchopneumonia.
Treatment: Antipyretic, remove the cause, and prevent secondary infection.
(1) Bupleurum injection 1-2 ml, intramuscular injection, 2 times/day.
(2) Penicillin 50,000 units/kg body weight, intramuscular injection, 2 times/day.
Prevention: Strengthen feeding and management to prevent cold stimulation.
