1. Use special tools when combing the hair, do not use human combs and brushes. To use an iron comb, hold the back of the comb with your hand, swing it gently with your wrist, comb it horizontally, and use coarse, medium, and fine combs alternately. The usage of the comb is to use the strength of the wrist. The brush has many teeth. When combing, lift the hair with one hand, and then brush the other part.

2. Comb the Samoyed hair in the order of growth, from front to back and from top to bottom.

3. When combing, the movements should be gentle and meticulous, and should not be done roughly or recklessly, otherwise the Samoyed will be in pain. Be especially careful when combing the coat near sensitive parts.

4. When the Samoyed's coat is seriously stained, conditioner and baby powder should be used together with combing.

5. Before combing the coat, if you can wipe the Samoyed's body with a towel soaked in hot water, the coat will be brighter.

6. For Samoyeds whose fine hairs are seriously tangled, you should use a comb or wire brush to comb along the growth direction of the hairs, starting from the tips of the hairs, and then combing to the roots of the hairs, little by little. Do not comb or pull hard as this may cause pain and pull the hair out. If the felting is serious, you can use scissors to cut the felt piece in the direction of the hair dryer, and then comb it. If it still cannot be combed, you can cut off the felted part, and then comb it after the new hair gradually grows out.
