Symptoms of canine distemper in Huskies:

1. The early stage of the disease in Huskies is fever, with the body temperature rising to about 40 degrees, which will last for 1-2 days and then return to normal. After 2-3 days, the body temperature rises again.

2. When the Husky’s body temperature rises again, it will show symptoms such as yellow urine, sticky or purulent secretions from the eyes, depression, and decreased appetite.

3. The respiratory system of Huskies will be attacked by the virus. The nose becomes dry, the nose secretes serous to purulent nasal juice, coughs, breathing speeds up, and there are rales and other pneumonia symptoms on auscultation of the lungs.

4. Some Huskies will also show symptoms of enteritis when they get canine distemper, often vomiting, constipation at first, and diarrhea after a while, sometimes mixed with blood and bubbles.

5. Huskies often develop corneal ulcers in the later stages of canine distemper. There were rice-sized red spots, edema and purulent papules on the skin of the lower abdomen and medial thigh.

6. In the later stages of canine distemper, the virus enters the nervous system, and the dog begins to show neurological symptoms, such as barking involuntarily, twitching limbs, head tremors, and epileptic symptoms. Finally, it dies due to nerve and organ failure. .
