Characteristics of Golden Retrievers

1. Well-proportioned and strong. Balanced physique, thick chest, level back, and muscular waist.

2. There is an obvious bone protrusion at the top of the head. A golden retriever without this protrusion is not pure.

3. In the center of the nose, form a concave vertical straight line, which is better than shallow.

4. The distance between the eyes of a golden retriever dog is wide, the eyes are dark brown, and the black eyes are bright.

5. When standing still, the tail must be hanging diagonally. When running, the tail will not go completely straight back.

6. Golden retrievers have dense undercoat. The upper coat is smooth or wavy, with colors ranging from gold to creamy yellow.

7. The short coat grows well. The outer coat is strong, close to the body, vertical or curly, but not rough or silky.
