The adverse consequences of domestic cats not being vaccinated:

1. Cats will be infected with fatal viruses because they do not have enough antibodies to deal with external bacteria and viruses.

2. The cat’s body may suffer from stunted development due to lack of antibodies.

3. Cats may develop antibodies to certain viruses they are infected with, but this virus is very likely to be transmitted to humans.

What are the uses of vaccinating cats:

1. Prevent feline infectious diseases. The current common cat vaccine is the feline triple vaccine, which prevents feline herpes virus, feline calicivirus and feline parvovirus. The infectious diseases caused by these three viruses are feline rhinorrhea, feline stomatitis and feline distemper, which are also the most common clinically. For some infectious diseases, young cats can gain resistance to these three viruses through normal vaccination procedures and avoid being exposed to these viruses as adults.

2. Prevent zoonotic diseases, such as rabies. Rabies is a disease that is spread through blood or scratches and bites. If a cat is often active outdoors, it may be attacked, scratched, or bitten by other animals. Rabies vaccination can prevent cats from contracting rabies in such tragedies.
