Devon cats cannot eat oranges. Oranges are acidic fruits, and cats’ gastrointestinal and digestive systems are relatively fragile. Eating them will irritate their gastrointestinal tract, cause damage to their digestive systems, and may cause vomiting, diarrhea and other symptoms. The smell of oranges can also irritate the cat's respiratory tract and cause the cat to sneeze. It is best not to feed your cat any citrus fruits.
What to do if a cat accidentally eats an orange:
1. Cats are very sensitive to the taste of oranges. If they accidentally eat them, they will usually spit them out on their own.
2. If you only eat a small amount of oranges without any adverse reactions, it will not affect the cat’s health, and cat owners don’t need to worry.
