When to breed Samoyeds

Although the Samoyed will start its first estrus when it is 6-8 months old, it is best to wait until it is one year old before breeding, because although dogs before one year old are sexually mature, their bodies are not yet mature. If they are fully developed, premature mating will not only affect the skeletal development of the female dog, but also lead to a decrease in the survival rate of the puppies.
