Things to note when raising a Sphynx cat

Although Sphynx cats do not require shedding or trimming, they do not require care. Unidentified oils that their skin normally absorbs build up on their skin. Therefore, regular bathing is usually done once a week or every two weeks. Avoid prolonged exposure to outdoor sunlight as they can develop symptoms similar to sunburn and skin damage in humans. Because they have limited means of conserving body heat when cold, in some climates, scavengers need to be provided with coats or other clothing to help keep them warm in the winter.
