Green water may be bile. If a cat is "hungry" for a long time, the cat's gastric motility will be reduced due to bile vomiting syndrome, which may cause it to vomit green water and gastric juice. If the cat only vomits green water once in a while and has a normal appetite, then there is no problem. If the cat vomits green water several times for several days in a row and has no appetite at all, then it may be a physical disease and it is recommended to take the cat to the pet hospital for examination.

There are many causes of cats vomiting green water, but feline parvovirus infection is one of the characteristic causes. This is a disease caused by viral infection. Compared with adult cats, kittens with low immunity are more susceptible to feline parvovirus, with symptoms such as fever, severe diarrhea, vomiting (vomiting bile), and loss of appetite. It might be helpful if the cat can be treated early when it is infected with feline parvovirus, otherwise it will become more troublesome as it is delayed. Therefore, when the cat is 3 months old, it must be vaccinated and dewormed.
