A dog that overeats may die within a day or so, or it may not die. If a puppy is just born and overeats, the chance of death will be higher, because the puppy’s digestive ability is relatively poor. It cannot adjust itself, so it is easy to die; if a larger dog is full, it can adjust and recover on its own in about a day, and death will not occur.
