How to raise dachshund puppies

1. Feeding
It is recommended to feed dog food, which is nutritious and conducive to the normal growth and development of dachshunds. Dogs aged 2 months should pay attention to the amount of food and do not support the dog. It is recommended to eat three meals a day, small and multiple times, etc. After 4 months, you can eat two meals a day. When you are young, you can soak dog food in warm water and give it to the dog. If you want to feed human food, be careful not to be too salty. Dogs have different tastes from people. Remember, don’t feed chocolate. , onions, chicken and duck bones, milk (causing dogs to have diarrhea), some dogs are also allergic to seafood, so feed less meat when they were young.
2. Cleaning
Dachshunds at this stage need special care when taking a bath because their physique is still relatively weak. Use warm water (around 40 degrees) to bathe your dog. It is best to use dog-specific shampoo. Immediately after washing, use a hair dryer to dry the fur completely to avoid moisture causing mites. If it is a dog that has just been brought home , you can take a shower after a week. Don’t take a shower too frequently in the future, just once a week. In winter, if your body is not particularly dirty, do it once every half a month.
3. Nursing
Inject dachshunds with vaccines in a timely manner, three injections at the beginning, then one injection per year, and deworming once every quarter. Check your dog's ears regularly. If there is dirt inside, use a cotton swab to gently clean it out. Play with your dog more often.
