The results of treatment are less than ideal and may cause brain damage. It is also best to get vaccinated against the disease.

So once your dog’s nose is dry, take the temperature in the anus as soon as possible. If you have a fever, take some anti-inflammatory medicine. See if there are any reactions the next day (exercise, eat), if not, you need to see a doctor, preferably a regular pet doctor.
