Cats should not drink alcohol if necessary. The alcohol in the wine will stimulate the cat's nerves, gastrointestinal, and sense of smell. After drinking, the cat will have a series of symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, gastrointestinal pain, and excitement. Cats who drink alcohol cannot metabolize alcohol outside the body, which can lead to alcohol poisoning, internal organ disease, and even death of the cat in severe cases.
