Semi-erected ears

The base of the ears of a dog with semi-erect ears is also higher on the head, with the base of the ears upright and the tips of the ears hanging forward. In addition to border collies, Shetland also has such ears.

Bat Ears

Dog ears are large and erect, but the tops are no longer pointed and become rounded. The distance between the two ears should not be too close, it feels a bit like a bat. Common dog breeds: French Bulldog, Chihuahua, Corgi, etc.

Rose Ears

Rose ears are small dog ears. The ears are folded outward, with the tips hanging slightly, and the sides of the auricles slightly protruding. It is said that they are called rose ears because the folds of the ears look a bit like a rose when viewed from top to bottom. This is what the English Bulldog has.

Button Ears

If you have a medium-sized upright ear, and half of it is folded down and covers the ear canal, it is a button ear.

Folding ears

The ears are long, low at the base, and soft in texture. They have creases when they hang down naturally, and the edges are rolled up, just like curtains that are not flat.
