Eczema

Eczema can be caused by allergic reactions caused by skin irritation such as prolonged lying in wetlands, unclean fur, physical factors, chemical factors, or ectoparasite invasion. It usually occurs under the ears, buttocks, inside of the limbs and the scrotum of male dogs. The affected skin of the dog can be seen covered with rice-sized red papules and blisters, with fluid exuding and then scabbing. Dogs will itch and become restless, lick, bite and rub the affected area frequently. In severe cases, it can lead to large areas of skin necrosis.

Scabies

Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by scabies mites, accompanied by severe itching and eczema-like changes. The main clinical features are severe itching, hair loss and eczematous dermatitis. It mostly occurs in winter, late autumn and early spring. The main causative agent of canine scabies is the canine scabies mite of the genus Scabies in the family Sarcoptidae. The dog's limbs, face, auricles, abdomen and lower abdomen gradually spread to show papules and itching all over the body.

Pyoderma

Pyoderma is usually caused by infections such as Staphylococcus aureus, Corynebacterium, Streptococcus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Primary pyoderma mainly occurs in juvenile dogs aged 2-9 months, mainly in the hairless areas of the armpits of the forelimbs and the medial thighs of the hind limbs. Red rashes, rashes, hair loss, scabs and small pustules are common clinical manifestations on dogs' skin. Dogs with skin diseases that have been ill for a long time may have hyperpigmentation in the affected areas, and lichenification may occur in areas with severe itching. .
